BTW, *IF* I could ever finish the interactive quake mapping program I want to make, it will be able to do similar animations in real time under user control, and in 3D. But for now, it's just vaporware. boo hoo.

I have just finished watching this animation you posted, quite remarkable to see just what happens in 15 years.  I actually used this to answer my question " do earthquakes occur at 103 West by 50 South " ..... now I know they don't Wink .
