There were two M6.8 quakes and one M6.9 quake. The focal mechanisms for all three were strike-slip, with all three having ENE-striking nodal planes. The ENE nodal plane slip would be left-lateral. The geometry of the subduction and this segment requires left-lateral. Furthermore, the quakes including smaller ones are aligned ENE-WSW.
