When I was "Island Chris" for 6 1/2 years, 2006-2013, I was adjunct professor at the university of Missouri. The Geology department is on the quadrangle, where a link I just looked at shows a lot of tents. On Monday, and Tuesday morning, racism and the resignation of the president of the university system was the #1 story on the national news. Some people have shown courage. The link is worth reading.

From my side, I have to be careful what I say. I've been talking to lawyers, and am likely to hire one tomorrow. I had decided to do so several months ago but because of time and stress did not get to it. This is not directly related to the recent events, but one could make a tenuous connection. OK, I wrote some more but just deleted it before posting.
