I've noticed an uptick in activity in the Coso Junction area. Not unheard of, but what I find interesting is the spatial pattern. There are four distinct clusters of quakes perpendicular across the Owens Valley north of Ridgecrest.

The area is riddled with faults, namely the Airport Lake Fault Zone, and dozens of cinder cones and some lava flows.
