Oroville dam California - Island Chris - 02-13-2017
The damage to the spillways of Oroville dam, and the evacuation of almost 200,000 people is interesting. I don't really have anything useful to say about it that is not on the news. One article:

Other than hoping it doesn't give way, it's an excellent example of the erosive power of water.
