The silence of the Fault - PennyB - 09-03-2016

Just noting how active the California map is today (not even thinking of the Oklahoma 5.6!).  The San Andreas from Parkfield to Tejon Pass is silent.  Totally silent. Not even a little whimper.  And this means...uh, probably nothing.  But looks strange on the map!

And, as if in response to my post, a little 1.7 pops up, right in the middle of the silent region!  Never know who/what is listening!  LOL
