Total lunar eclipse tonite - Roger Hunter - 09-28-2015

Yes and what do I get?

Broken clouds giving only glimpses, that's what!

That's a real bummer.

I had some high cirrus, but it wasn't too bad.

It rose over the mountain already in deep eclipse for me.

Here's a few of my better pictures.

BTW, you're pretty close to the path of the solar eclipse coming up in less than 2 years. August 21st, 2017. You should get better than 90% coverage. Something to look forward to.

Liked your pictures Brian, especially the third one showing partial eclipse behind the trees, kind of haunting!.

Total was at 3am here, and missed my chance due to a power outage killing my alarm, can't beat the old wind-ups.

Sorry for rambling in my last post, was in bed with the flu, and near death experience makes you do that  Angel .

Duffy,
