New Theme & Logo - Skywise - 09-26-2015

It's still very much in the works.

But if you want to try it out, on the bottom right of every page there is a drop down menu next to a "GO" button. From that you can select a theme.

The one I am working on and modifying is the GamerZone one. Doing this lets you experience the theme on all pages.

You can use the same menu to go back (EarthwavesNew).

"Earthwaves" and "Default" are not recommended. The former is broken, and the latter has nothing - not even the site logo. I'll eventually be nuking these.

And, you can see the new logo. I got cutesy and added a bunch of construction scaffolding since, well, it's still all under construction. OK. Never said I was a comedian.

Again, comments welcome.

OK. I've got the new theme fixed up enough that I've made it the default for everyone. If you find any errors or problems, please let me know.

You can change back to the 'bland' theme if you want. There is a pulldown box at the bottom of the page. You can make your choice permanent by changing your account settings:

-> log in
-> UserCP (top right side under search box)
-> Edit Options (left menu just above Miscellaneous)
-> Other Options (bottom right)
-> Board Style

Don't forget to save.

The old 'Classic' theme is still available but as of this writing it is still broken, but may still be functional enough to use. Use at your own risk. I may or may not fix it. Haven't decided that yet.

We have a 'construction logo' up for now as I still have work to do... little tweaks here and there. When I get it 99% the scaffolding will come down so you can see the clean logo. I hope everyone likes it. I rendered it using Blender, a free open source CGI program capable of professional movie graphics.

Have a great day everyone!

Brian
