Orange alert at Bardabungar? - PennyB - 08-18-2014

Just read that an Icelandic volcano has been upgraded to Orange, and eruption may be pending. Airlines alerted in Europe about potential. I don't know if I got this name correct...but seems more pronouncable than Eya was!

Just for into.

Pronunciations:

Bárðarbunga - http://www.forvo.com/word/b%C3%A1r%C3%B0arbunga/

Eyjafjallajökull - http://www.forvo.com/word/eyjafjallaj%C3%B6kull/#is

I've heard that many consider Icelandic one of the hardest languages to pronounce properly.

Ran across this website from a post on usenet.

Has a 3D rotatable map of the quakes, plus a live webcam image.
