Roads melting in Yellowstone? - PennyB - 07-11-2014

Just noting a news article (Google several) regarding roads melting in Yellowstone due to increased thermal activity.

As interesting as it might be to see a Yellowstone eruption---not something that I would really recommend for North America, or the world in general.

Articles say that shifting thermal activity is the cause. Hmmmm.....

Found this article, with pics....

Seems it's just due to shifting of the hot water from the geysers. Nothing magmatic, at least not directly. But I'm sure the woo woo crowd will glom onto this and say Yellowstone is about to erupt.
