There are no M2.5 or higher quakes plotted on the USGS map in the 48 continental states of USA in the last 24 hours. Unusual I think; there are lost plotted smaller than 2.5 when I change the parameters, so presumably the system is getting quakes to the map. While I was looking at this a M7.2 quake near the Iraq-Iran border appeared (had just happened). It seems implausible that there is any connection between the two things I write about.
