I just read the article on the collapse of marine-based ice sheets, as related to sea level rise. My work in Antarctica is somewhat related. I'd read a couple of papers on this subject a year and a half ago, but I learned a couple of things reading the linked article. I think it is free/open access: it is a 4 Mbyte .pdf and then you have to go find the article within.

My one complaint is that they fail to mention the marine-based ice in East Antarctica (e.g., Wilkes basin), which has more than four times the sea level rise potential of all of West Antarctic ice. Global Climate Models can now model 17 m of sea level rise from Antarctic marine-based ice.
